This is funny, don't spoil the fun, and keep it going............
Type out the sentence you end up with in the subject line and forward to your friends. Also, send it back to the person that sent it to you (if you want to do this in email. This way, I figure only those who really want to read it will, instead of cluttering up their inboxes.....)

World's Best Mom, or Slacker?
Are You a Slacker Mom?
Every woman has her own parenting style - what's your parenting style? Take this fun quiz to discover if you are a slacker mom, and learn some fun tips on motherhood.
I got this quiz from my BonusMail, and thought I'd share it with all ya'll moms out there. So go
here to take the quiz, and find out what kind of mom you are.
Here are my results:
Your quiz score makes you: Zen Mom
How do you do it? Even when explosions are all around, you are able to take a deep cleansing breath and chant your mantra "this too shall pass." You are a calming influence on your kids in a hectic world.
I'm not too sure about my results, because I don't feel very zen, especially when Doane is away on a drill weekend. But oh, well!

I've Been Tagged - AGAIN! (lol)
I've been tagged by my friend Lori, and tried to get out of it by saying it must not have been me, since it was spelled wrong. Beka's a common name, right?
I'm a weirdo and I know it. Here's why?
Well this list could be endless but I'll just list five like everyone else.
1. I love reality TV, too (Survivor marathon, Lori?). I like Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, and on and on and on.
2. I like Mountain Dew....a lot! Mountain Dew and I have a love hate relationship. I really love it, but it really hates my body. But I drink it anyway, because it's about the only soda I like. You may say "Just stop drinking soda altogether", but I just can't!
3. I like popping my knuckles, on my fingers and toes. It just feels good.
4. This is kinda gross, but I like it when my husband pops the zits on my head. I don't understand why they show up there, but when they get too many, or too big, we have a zit fest. Now, I know you're all hungry after reading that!
5. I enjoy typing. I could type all day. It's an outlet for me, when I'm transcribing other things. I can just turn my brain off, and type.
I tag Jessica, Kathy, Korbi, Laurel, and Ape^3

Helloooooo Schnoodles!
My baby girl finally delivered her five - count them FIVE - puppies. Yeah, like you can see them all. I'm afraid Lucy is going to lay on them and suffocate them tonight!
Anywho, here are the first two to come out....
Then Lucy had her first little black one. I'll skip the gross shot, as I have better ones for later, but here is the mostly cleaned off black one.
At this point, I had to rush off to work (and barely made it there to clock in on time). I instructed Doane to text me with each new addition. There were only two more after I left, and they were both black. But here comes the nasty pictures! Make sure you enlarge the pics for a better view.....
Now this one looks just yummy, and makes you wanna go out and eat a big hunk o' raw steak!
And this is the best pic I can get of the puppies tonight. Lucy is just cuddling them, wrapped around their little bodies. So cute!

Waiting for Schnoodles.....
Remember when you had your first baby, and you couldn't bear to have them sleep in another room, so you kept them in your room? And remember how every little sound would wake you up, and you'd worry if your baby was okay? Well, that's how I feel right now waiting for our dog Lucy to have puppies. She was due on Sunday (19th), and she still hasn't had them at 4:30 on Wednesday. Sheesh, can't I get some sleep? I might be forced to concede to Doane, and put her in our bathroom tonight. But look at her, she's so adorable, but looks so miserable! Her eyes just look so sad, like "why did you do this to me, Mom?" The pictures just doesn't do justice!

Patrick's 7th Birthday
I can't seem to find a post on it, so if I've done this already, I'm sorry.
Patrick's birthday was last month, but I'm a little slow on getting around to doing a post about it. We just did a little family/friend get-together, nothing special. The only thing he asked for was Transformers, so the whole theme was Transformers.
But let's start out with some shots of the kids enjoying the pizza we had for dinner...
We have Jaxson, Connor, Corbet, Thatcher and Luke here, chomping away.
Here's Jacob, Trey, Patrick, Dean and Kate.
Moving on to the presents, we'll skip a few of the "opening the present" shots, and move right to the one with the haul. Wow, that's a lot of Transformers!
The amazing thing is, with all these kids and all these Transformers, there wasn't a duplicate in the lot. Wow!
And the piece de resistance, the cake. It's another homemade one, done by the amazing and talented Doane. He's so crafty!
First is the top view....
Then we have the good guys....
Versus the bad guys....
And then all the kids gathered around as Patrick gets ready to blow out his candles. All in all, it was a successful party, and we have a ton of Transformers now. Thanks everyone who came to celebrate with us!

YW Lesson and Family Pics
A few weeks ago, I gave a lesson on community involvement and service to my Laurels in Young Women. I was supposed to have pictures of local landmarks that were built/maintained by the community. Also, my husband and I have wanted to go to a couple of these local landmarks to take some updated family pictures. Keep in mind, we only had about half an hour to go to the landmarks, take pictures of them, and our family, before I had to rush off to work. I didn't even make it to the last one, so Doane took the kids there after I went to work.
Here is the first place we went. I think it's called the Japanese Peace Gardens. It's run by locals, and it's free to get in. They close it down during the winter, but it's really beautiful.
Here is a picture of the water fall without us in front of it.
Then we went to a new park downtown. I'm sure I will massacre the spelling of it, but it's Sinkiuse Square. It's not really community built or run, but it's still a fun spot to bring the kids in the summer, when it's really hot!
This "stage" is where they have musicians and groups perform, and on the lawn in the back they set up the Farmer's Market on Wednesdays. Doane would REALLY like to have some of those stones as decorations for our yard!
Then I rushed off to work, and Doane took the kids to the James H. Doolittle Dream Park. Now this is a really cool place! This is completely community funded and built. I think they still have more work to do, but it's looking pretty awesome right now. Back in March when they were working on this, I had signed up for a shift of helping on the build. Then later, we donated money for the fencing that goes around it. They put your name on one of the fenceposts for your donation.
Now I could go on and on, and post MANY pictures, but I'll just do a few more, and end with my favorite one, that I now have on my debit card, because it's too cute!
